We were shooting in April but it happened to be one of the coldest days when we were filming outside. Omoni had a blanket on under the table and wore a winter jacket between takes.

At Home By Myself… With You was the first feature film I worked on as a stills photographer. I didn’t own a camera blimp when I worked on this movie which made my job a lot harder. The first thing I did after this movie was order a Jacobson Sound Blimp. I can’t stress enough the importance of this when working on set. You can’t be a carpenter without a hammer and you can’t be a stills photographer without a sound blimp.

When it’s around 2am and you are walking around downtown Toronto and suddenly have to go to the bathroom you have a few choices:

• Find a dirty bathroom in a sketchy bar or 
• Go to a nice 4 or 5 star hotel.

I walked into the Radisson Hotel and used their lavatory. I love hotel lobbies and common rooms.  I noticed a door to the outdoor pool area was unlocked and walked out with my boyfriend to set up a shot of the CN Tower. This spot is beautiful. Anyone thinking about visiting Toronto should come in the summer and swim in this pool area at the Radisson. It was winter when I took this picture- so no illegal late night dips for this photographer!

A friend of mine loves the CF 100 and “embarked on a pilgrimage” to visit all the existing CF100s in Canada (somewhere around 40).

I traveled with him to Borden, Ontario to a Canadian Military Base and took pictures of the two planes which are stored here.
