I guess you could say I owe it to Jon Lovitiz for my role as a movie stills photographer. He had a blog, I asked how to get started and he told me about the union and the basics of the industry. In a small and often unknown photography niche I have learned from some of the best movie still photographers in North America. Peter 'Hopper' Stone being one of them and partially my reason for starting my career with Canon.
While I watch anything and everything, I’ve got much love for indie flicks and have been a fan of horror/suspense since Molly Ringwald stopped making teen movies.
My favorite movies are Labryinth and Legend with Mirror Mask being a recent addition to the short list. Tim Burton and Guillermo del Toro top the list of directors on my radar for movies to look out for.

I’ve used both Nikon and Canon cameras and my heart lies with the Canon brand.
I own a Canon 50D, 24-70mm, 16-35mm and 70-200mm all f2.8, Jacobson Sound Blimp, Canon Speedlite 430EX II, professional lighting equipment and a thick sturdy tripod which follows me to the remote areas of the world.
On the post processing side I have a 24” iMac with Adobe CS4 and Aperture.
